We just saw a pretty ugly TYPE issue on the Mars pin. They are fixing it, but it will probably add a few more days delay to shipping. The rest of the pins are approved and are being printed. 

So all that is left is this revision and actual shipping time from the producers to our warehouse. 

We’ve got a new pin campaign live on BackerKit: two classic Chop Shop designs and four new ones—all themed around Dinosaur Extinction (with a few reminders that we humans should avoid the same fate). 

 

As a previous backer, you’ll automatically get a free pin when you back this one. Early birds and followers get free stickers, plus there are stretch goals and other add-ons to unlock.

The proofs are in. They look great. Although the photos could be taken better. The reflection on the metal lines makes the contrast kind of weak. But I can tell these are all on the mark.

Just one comment follows below. 








The only comment I had was the grey “sky” in Curiosity was supposed to be a dark red like seen in Galileo.

Not sure if they can revise that, but apart from that I would say these are all approved.

There is also the bonus “free” pin for repeat backers.



Beyond that, can you guys take this poll for the new pin campaign?

BackerKit is a thorough application and really, I like it this way. There were required waiting days for some processes like locking orders, then collecting final payments for shipping and add-ons. 

I just ran the cards on the final payments. I noticed to late that it says, “do this when you are almost ready to ship”. I am new to this platform, so sorry if I did that too early. The pins are just ordered and I expect they will take at least 3 weeks if not longer to arrive here.

Just a quick look. The proofs look good. Some sizing issues and minor tweaks to art. I only submitted the Rosetta one last night, so no proof on that yet.
